Privacy Policy

Cadence works fully offline with no account — in that mode your data never leaves your phone. If you create an account, your plan syncs to a private database row only you can access. We run no ads, embed no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and never sell data. You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time.

Local mode (no account). Your habits, plans, logged sessions, urge moments, schedule, and optional profile photo are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. Nothing is transmitted to us.

With an account. We store your email address, a display name you choose, an optional one-line motivation ("your why"), an optional profile photo, and your habit data: plans, daily targets, logged sessions, and urge-tool uses, each tied to your account id. This lives in our database (hosted on Supabase) behind row-level security — your rows are readable and writable only by your authenticated session.

Notifications. Session-window pings, morning plans, and evening nudges are scheduled entirely on your device from your local plan. We operate no push server and never see a push token.

Payments. Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are processed by Apple. We receive no card details and no billing identity from Apple. If we later sell on the web, that checkout will be processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, and this policy will be updated first.

No advertising SDKs. No behavioral analytics SDKs. No data brokers. No selling, renting, or sharing your personal data for anyone's marketing. Health-adjacent data — what you're tapering and how much you use — is exactly the kind of thing that must never leak; we treat it as radioactive.

In the app: You → Delete account permanently removes your account row and every habit, plan, session, and photo attached to it. Local-mode data is erased with You → Erase local data or by deleting the app. You can also email support@getcadence.now and we'll delete server-side data within 30 days.

Cadence is for adults working on adult habits. It is not directed at children under 17.

If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date changes and the in-app links point at the new version before it takes effect. Questions: support@getcadence.now.
